A Pre-Bid Meeting will be scheduled for all qualified contractors during the week of 9/16/13.
The Inn and Conference Center (ICC) Hotel Building was completed in 2005. Beginning in 2010, UMUC experienced moisture intrusion through the exterior walls and into the interior spaces. Despite some repairs, the problem persisted. UMUC then retained Gale Associates to conduct a study to investigate the moisture infiltration and design repairs. The scope of this project includes Selective demolition and replacement of: Brick veneer, through wall flashings, windows and associated flashings, caulking. Mold remediation, GWB systems, and paint are required for the interior. Also required is vertical access via scaffolding for the trade contractors involved.
