Dimensions Healthcare System announced the appointment of Neil J. Moore as President and Chief Executive Officer.
“Neil Moore is a seasoned healthcare executive. He is best qualified to lead our system,” said C. Philip Nichols, Jr., Chairman of the Dimensions Board. “He knows our patients, our doctors, and the needs of our community. No one is better equipped to implement our plans for achieving ‘best in class’ medical care for the 180,000 patients who come to our facilities each year as well as our plans to join the University of Maryland Medical System.”
Mr. Moore has been serving as acting President and Chief Executive Officer as well as the Dimensions Chief Financial Officer for nearly seven years. From 1989 to 2005, he served in senior leadership positions for several large New York City healthcare organizations.
“Neil Moore has a stellar record of prudent financial management,” stated Dr. Benjamin Stallings, the Dimensions’ Treasurer. “His combination of inpatient and community-based program experience will be a tremendous asset for our county.”
Bradford Seamon, Acting Chief Administrative Officer for Prince George’s County and a Dimensions Board member, noted the importance of supporting the State and county initiative now underway with the University of Maryland Medical System. “His appointment clearly reinforces our commitment to quality health care.”
