NLRB Chairman Mark Gaston Pearce on recent decisions regarding employee rights posting
Christine V. Walters, MAS, JD, SPHR of Five L Company advises that the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Chairman Mark Gaston Pearce announced that in light of recent and conflicting court decisions, the NLRB’s Regional offices will not be implementing the rule that was to take effect April 30, 2012 requiring employers to post a notice informing employees of their rights under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). The announcement notes that the rule will not be implemented “pending the resolution of the issues before the court.”
