Military Bowl to move out of D.C.

Staff Reporter- Washington Business Journal
The Military Bowl, the District's first and only NCAA bowl game, will move from RFK Stadium to the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis this year, according to Events D.C. and the D.C. Bowl Committee.

The game will be played Dec. 27 at Navy's home field, after being played the past five years at RFK. It will be the first bowl game played at the Navy stadium.

The teams, one from the Atlantic Coast Conference and one from the Conference USA, will still stay in D.C. hotels, and the rest of the bowl events in the week leading up to the game will remain in the District. That includes a NCAA Football Youth Clinic scheduled for this summer at Anacostia High School in Southeast D.C.
