Workshop series planned to commemorate National Small Business Week
Annapolis, Maryland – (June 11, 2013) – To recognize the contribution of small businesses, the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation is hosting free workshops
to help business owners understand current issues that can affect small
business as well as important resources that can help entrepreneurs
succeed.

Affordable Care Act, or "ObamaCare," will affect the cost of business.
Find out how Maryland is preparing for the upcoming open enrollment
phase of the state's health care exchange.
Wednesday, June 19, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Learn
about AAEDC's services, many of them free of charge, that can help you
start or expand your business. Topics include but are not limited to
real estate expansion and relocation assistance, navigating the permit
process to getting the necessary approvals for business operation, and
workforce recruitment and retention.

Find
out about the availability of more than $3 million in casino revenue to
help Maryland's small businesses with loans for business and commercial
real estate acquisition and expansion, lease-hold improvements,
equipment and vehicle purchase, and working capital.
