You’re invited to
PRSA Central Chesapeake’s
October Lunch Program:
“Personal Branding”
Thursday, October 17, 12:00-1:15 p.m.
At ARINC Inc., 2551 Riva Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401
If
you’re so great, why doesn’t anyone know who you are? On Thursday, Oct.
17, Jennifer Ransaw Smith, CEO and Chief Brand Strategist for Brand
ID/Strategic Partners will answer this question by uncovering what it truly
takes to be an industry rock star. The one-hour session walks
through key insights for personal brand elevation and strategies for playing a
more active and engaging role in how you are perceived.
“Gone
are the days when you can sit back, work hard and expect to be
recognized,” says Ransaw Smith, whose background also includes helping some of
the nation’s most prominent brands like Burger King, AT &T, Texaco, Clairol
and Coke position and differentiate themselves in the marketplace.
“Today, you must take on the role of Chief Brand Strategist, Chief
Marketing Officer and Chief Publicist of ‘You, Inc.’ It is your No. 1 job
to tell the world who you are and what you are capable of.”
You’ll
walk away from this program with strategies to help you define yourself,
declare your value proposition, and develop a strong personal brand. The
interlocking of these values will help motivate you to embrace, enhance and
communicate your uniqueness so that you can achieve your potential, fearlessly
and successfully.
The
presentation with lunch will begin promptly at noon, concluding at 1:15 p.m. on
Thursday, October 17, 2013. It will be held at ARINC, Inc., located at
2551 Riva Road in Annapolis, MD. The cost is $25 for members, $30
for nonmembers, $5 for students and $15 for retired members. All attendees
are required to present valid government-issued photo ID.
