BBI BROWN BAG
How small businesses should strategically approach 
compliance with the Affordable Care Act
I. Date: Thursday, October 17th
II. Time: 12:00PM - 1:30PM
III. Presenter: Panel
 of local health care experts discuss the Affordable Care Act. Bob 
Anantua, President and CEO of the Small Business Alliance Group will 
facilitate the Panel Discussion with Christine Hall, Executive Director 
of Healthy Howard, a connector entity for the MD Health Connection; 
David Cardwell, Sr., Executive VP of Business Development, Group Benefit
 Services.
IV. Event: The
 panel discussion will provide perspectives to the business community as
 it pertains to the Affordable Care Act. It will help the audience to 
understand the rationale behind the mandate and the implications of some
 of the decisions that business owners will be making in compliance with
 the Act. The Panel will outline the purpose of the exchange as well as 
explore the challenges and solutions to employers. This workshop will 
address many of the burning questions that are on the mind of the small 
business employers. Participants will be asked to come prepared to 
participate in discussion and voice areas of needs as well as challenges
 they may face in their respective organization.
