WSSC Nominated for Public Entity of the Year Award

MD/DC Minority Supplier Development Council to announce winner

LAUREL – October 8, 2013: They say it’s an honor just to be nominated... and that’s certainly the case for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC). The Commission has been nominated for a 2013 Public Entity of the Year Award from the MD/DC Minority Supplier Development Council.

The prestigious leadership award will be announced on Friday, October 11 at the MD/DC Minority Supplier Development Council’s 32nd Annual Leaders and Legends Gala held at National Harbor.

“Diversity is just the way we do business at WSSC,” said Towanda Livingston, SLMBE Director. “This nomination further highlights the Commission’s commitment to ensuring a level playing field for minority, women and small businesses.”
