Groups urge Anne Arundel delegation to keep stormwater fees intact

Environmental groups on Tuesday urged Anne Arundel County’s legislative delegation to keep stormwater fees intact.

At a pre-session public hearing held in Annapolis by the county delegation, around 25 organizations got the opportunity to ask their representatives for help.


One group asked lawmakers to push for a 13th county high school in Crofton. Another asked delegates and senators to back later school starting times. Some asked for funding for mental health programs, the arts and historic properties.
