New Opportunity to Become a Casino Dealer

Selected students can receive free training to become a casino dealer under a grant-sponsored partnership between Anne Arundel Community College and the Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation.

Information sessions are available from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 in the Center for Applied Learning and Technology (CALT) Room 134 on AACC’s Arnold campus, 101 College Parkway; from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Dec. 5, in CALT Room 122; and from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at AACC’s Glen Burnie Town Center, 101 Crain Highway, N., Glen Burnie.

Under the Accelerating Connections to Employment (ACE) grant, participants need to be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, be able to obtain a clean background check and be available to take classes during the day at AACC’s Arundel Mills facility, 7009 Arundel Mills Circle, Hanover. Hospitality experience is a plus. Tuition and fees for qualified, selected participants is provided through grant funding from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment and Training Administration.
