The Center for the Study of Local Issues of Anne Arundel Community College recently (Oct. 10-13) conducted a survey focusing on Anne Arundel County residents’ views concerning the following issues: Economic conditions and experiences; Consumer confidence; Emergency preparedness; Citizens’ location and attempts to communicate in the aftermath of the Aug. 23 earthquake; Citizens’ experiences with recent hurricanes; The perceived effectiveness of BGE’s preparations and reactions to the hurricanes/power outages; Replenishment proposals for the Maryland Transportation Trust Fund; Presidential job approval and trust in political parties.
