National Wildlife Conservation Film Festival Begins Friday, November 4

The 2nd Annual National Wildlife Conservation Film Festival in the Washington, DC area takes place the weekend of November 4-6 in the Aldo Leopold Auditorium at the National Wildlife Visitor Center, Patuxent Research Refuge in Laurel, Maryland.

The film series begins on Friday, November 4th, with films shown between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday showings will begin at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Cost for each series will be $8 per adult and $6 for students and seniors. The Film Festival is being co-sponsored by Friends of Patuxent, a 501 (c) 3 organization which supports the Patuxent Research Refuge and Patuxent Wildlife Research Center.

The National Wildlife Visitor Center also has state of the art exhibits, wildlife viewing areas, walking trails, and guided tram tours through forest, meadow and wetland habitats.

Friends of the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center and Patuxent Research Refuge Inc., is a designated Section 501©(3) public charity. It is a membership organization whose mission is to financially support the research of the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center and the environmental education, outreach and recreation missions at the Patuxent Research Refuge. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
