Training Funding Assistance Available to Anne Arundel County Employers for On-the-Job Training of New Hires
Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation (AAWDC) has funds available for employers in Anne Arundel County for short term skills-enhancement OJT training through a federal On-the-Job (OJT) Training grant. 

Now through June 30, 2012, Anne Arundel County employers may be eligible to receive a wage reimbursement for on-the-job training of new employees hired through AAWDC. For qualifying employers, the OJT grant provides reimbursement of up to 90% of the hourly wage of a new hire, for up to 12 weeks of OJT training. The new hire must be a full time employee with benefits. Training funding assistance is not available for part time workers or contract workers.
