A recent article in the Baltimore Sun outlines the fact that 807,000 people have applied for and received the Homestead Tax Credit, but there are about 150,000 homeowners who have not—and the deadline is December 31, 2012. We want to make certain that all BWCC members get what is legally theirs!
The Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation has made it easier to see if you have applied for and received the credit, providing that information at the bottom of the assessment information on the SDAT website. Go here to access.
