La Prima Catering, a regional company that offers corporate and special events, will partner with Open Book Farm of Myersville, MD to create a unique fall wedding celebration featuring a menu of grown-to-order vegetables, herbs, and chicken.
In order to create an experience that will reflect the bride and groom’s strong support for wonderful food produced locally and sustainably, La Prima will also provide some of the vegetables and herbs from its own garden outside its corporate headquarters in College Park, MD.
La Prima and Open Book Farm planted the first seedlings this April for the late September wedding menu, and are setting aside a section of field as a “wedding garden” just for the occasion to be held in Emmitsburg, MD on September 29th. To learn more about this unique event visit their blog.
These are very beautiful wedding venues. My sister's getting married at one of the Long Island wedding halls and the place is as gorgeous as this one.
