Recruit Highly Qualified Transitioning Soldiers

BBI Match-Up

The Base Business Initiative is partnering with Fort Meade to place highly qualified transitioning soldiers within the regional workforce.  

Most of these transitioning soldiers have high-level clearances (with polygraphs) and are seeking to enter the workforce in the following sectors: Intel, Cyber, Management and Logistics.

On August 28th from 1:00-4:00pm, the BBI will be hosting an employment match-up on Fort Meade to help place these transitioning soldiers and we are opening participation to businesses in the BBI.

We are reaching out to the entire BBI membership to see which businesses would be interested in participating in this event.  Please email rkudchadkar@howardcountymd.gov  no later than Tuesday, July 30th to express your interest!

The BBI will follow-up with interested businesses to discuss whether the current pool of candidates are an appropriate fit for their specific workforce needs.
