The Decision: Prince George's casino winner will be selected Dec. 20

We’ve been saying for some time that Maryland hoped to select a Prince George’s County casino winner before the end of year. Now we have a date: Dec. 20.

The Video Lottery Facility Location Commission has set three upcoming meeting dates that will culminate with the much-anticipated decision.

On Dec. 6, the commission will hear from their hired consultants, and each bidder — MGM Resorts International, Greenwood Racing Inc. and Penn National Gaming Inc. — will have an opportunity to respond to the findings.
